Summer and Popsicles!!!
I don’t know what I like more, a warm summer day or a nice fruity, refreshing popsicle!
While I was trying to figure out what to do with the leftover fruit from my fridge and many nights spent on Pinterest I came up with this simple recipe. I’m all for simple and healthy eats and this can’t be easier and healthier for your kids and not only in the summer time but all year around.
The ingredient list consists of every day house hold supplies and can be easily substituted.
For this recipe you will need:
- Fruit (anything you have at home will be good), I used a banana and avocado,
- ½ cup Yogurt, substitute with no-dairy version for dairy allergies
- 2 Tbs Peanut butter, or other nut butter or skip this in case of nut allergies,
- 1 Tbs Cocoa
- 1-2 tbs honey (use brown sugar for kids under 1 year)
Put everything in a blender until all is blend and smooth.
Taste it before pouring into the molds. Pour in popsicle molds. Let the fun begin!
In the last picture, I made the popsicles with blueberries, strawberries, mango and almond butter! Those 2 sweet faces let me know this is Super Yummy!
Bon Appetit!!!!!!
