Since opening our Evanston doors in 1998 and expanding to Chicago in 2005, Toddler Town has been a trusted partner to hundreds of families seeking something more: a place where children are loved, challenged, and treated like family.

We’re proud to be a family-owned program where our owner is on-site daily, the director has been here for over 10 years, and many of our teachers have been with us for 5+ years. Our longevity marks the trust families have placed in us year after year.

We nurture the whole child—cognitively, socially, emotionally, physically, and creatively. Our age-appropriate curriculum ensures that every child progresses toward kindergarten readiness with confidence and excitement. From self-help skills and early literacy to friendship-building and critical thinking, we prepare children to thrive in the classroom and beyond.

Meet Our Owner: Angelo Nikolov

“Before I opened Toddler Town, I was a teacher and camp counselor. But above all, I’m a parent. I’ve spent over 14 years building centers I’d want my own children to attend—because they have. I believe in creating an environment where every child is treated with care, every teacher is supported, and every improvement is made with intention.”

Angelo holds a B.S. in Communications and Early Childhood Psychology from DePaul University and a Master’s in Early Childhood Education from National Louis University. He leads with high standards, a hands-on presence, and a strong belief in giving back to the program and its people.
